RMU Trees Network
School of Nursing, Education, & Human Studies
Generously funded by the Edith L. Trees Charitable Trust, the RMU Trees Network is an important part of the legacy of Joseph Trees and Edith L. Trees, who honor their late son Joe with the founding grant. The Western PA Disability History and Action Consortium created a video about Joe Trees.
The grant provides services, resources, and training to enhance supports for children and adolescents with mild, moderate, or severe intellectual disabilities and their families through resources, professional preparation of teachers, continued professional development of teachers and service providers, and direct services to children and families.
The RMU Trees Network creates a system of interconnections for families of children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.
